Day 2 @MRMW– VectorScient presents in “Innovation Elevator”

We picked up Day 2 of MRMW right where we left off – with great excitement, friendly waves and hurried greetings around the space. This was a big day for VectorScient, and we were excited.
It turns out we weren’t the only excited attendees at the conference, because the energy in the room was amazing. We kicked off the morning with Ted Frank’s and Dave Decelle’s rocking presentation. I won’t speak for the rest of the team, but I’ve never seen such an energetic and engaging presentation before. Ted and Dave did an absolutely fabulous job crafting and delivering a marvelous presentation on how to plan and hold key executive presentations. We talked about the importance of storytelling and creating key actors, as well as building momentum and tension as we begin to unfold our market message. I could go on and on about the presentation, but I’ll close with the quote that stuck with our team: “Satisfy your rational side with your data, charts, etc., but appeal to the emotional side of the human by touching the heart.” Powerful words from a talented storyteller, and words we’ll definitely keep in mind as we continue to pitch our product. If you want to hear more from Ted, you can find more nuggets of wisdom in his book, Get to the Heart.
We spent the rest of our morning hopping in and out of various conferences and panels to manage our exhibition table during the breaks, all the while gearing up for our afternoon speech. Our session was comprised of two startups: VectorScient and Breinify, and was moderated and hosted by John Becker, CMO of Investor’s Business Daily. Our topic? “Predictive Intelligence – an ally for Market Research.” You’ll see more content next week that dives into our presentation, but for now, a teaser to hold you over:
The Problem: eCommerce businesses have a knowledge problem.
The Context: It’s possible for a company to have a great product, phenomenal leadership and steady funding…yet still fail. How? They can’t put their product in front of the people that want or need it. There’s a critical knowledge gap, a lack of understanding about target audiences and potential consumers. Without that knowledge, a business is flying blind.
The Solution: Coming next week.
We’ll pick up where we left off and dive back into our presentation next week, but first, some closing thoughts on the conference. For those of you who visited our booth, spoke with us, asked about our company and our product, thank you. Seriously. It was you who made the event such a successful and enjoyable experience. Thanks also to Pavan Konduru, who introduced us to so many interesting and amazing individuals – it really was a team effort! And finally, thanks to MRMW for putting on such a fantastic event. It’s safe to say the entire VS team would recommend this event to any in the future*. Stay tuned for more!
*No, we’re not just saying this because Suresh won a Kindle in the final raffle by BorderlessAccess. Thank you for your time in reading the post.
