Child Rape is one of the worst crimes.
You must think of Crimes as a profile, much like how music has genre, a Crime has a profile. And, a profile has characteristics. By extension, there are criminals for each type of crime and they have a set of common characteristics too.
For this conversation, we will limit our idea of 'Crime' to all violent Crime profiles where there's a direct significant impact to another innocent human's life (or leading to death) because of it.

- Kidnapping
- Hijacking
- Public violence
- Violent Robbery / Suicide Bombings
- Terrorism

Crime Profile Characteristics for Child Rape:
- Sexual assault

- Torture
- Risk to child's life
- Severe trauma infliction both to body, mind and spirit.
- Mental distress
- May lead to permanent loss of vital organs and functions.
Why would a Human resort to any Crime?
Historically, if you take any Crime Profile (Use the above examples to anchor the thought), if I were to pick ONE common causal element for a serious, violent Crime, without a detailed drill-down, case-case analysis, it would be:
Mental Derangement.
Simply put, a human will resort to any serious Crime of any of the above profiles only when there's a mental distortion, abnormality or disorder to such a degree that they would push themselves to committing a Crime they are convicted of.
You could add variants of 'Mental Derangement' as you might choose but common sense suggests that, there has got to be some wide deviation in the general mental functions in a human in order for that person to resort to a serious Crime.
So, in corollary, it might be safe to ask a rhetorical, common sense idea of:
Why would any Human do any serious Crime, if not for any mental abnormality or disorder in some sense?
So, What does that tell you?
It tells me that every Criminal of such a serious, violent Crime has a foundational flaw in the mental function, in some form or shape.
And, it also tells me that, we (as human race) cannot brush away all the Crimes in our societies by downsizing all the serious Criminal acts to a much oversimplified idea of a 'mental disorder' and not apprehend or legally punish the violent Criminal (or Perpetrator).
For example, Pedophilia / Child rape is a serious, heinous, immoral, violent Crime. But, if you were to argue this Crime profile as a 'mental disorder' and not pursue this as a 'Crime' that it is, you are stepping into a danger zone of potentially eliminating the need for Judiciary altogether.
This, in itself, maybe another mental disorder of the folks who maybe opening the flood gates of all Crimes to perpetuate in an utterly lawless state of affairs.
I'd reserve my anxiety by not overshooting and overthinking that our societies are headed that way towards an utterly lawless path that has NO future for humanity.
Where do we have the best bets for humanity?
It's in apprehending the violent Criminals, appropriately punishing them with legal framework using existing 'rule of law' and upholding justice.

It must be clear by now, in our exploratory conversation so far, that a convicted criminal needs to be subject to due legal accountability with proper jail sentencing.
Note: There should not arise any 'racism' angles, if the Judges / Jury / Judiciary System can act with the expected levels of integrity, moral duty to the profession. These mythical ideas of perceived 'racism' fears and therefore, Judges / Jury giving lenient sentences to any dangerous, violent criminals, will be eliminated with simple fundamental character restored in the Profession and System. That's the FIX and NOT bypassing due Legal Process.
Now, let's get back to 'Child Rape' is the worst Crime.
Given the characteristics of this Crime profile, it's non-debatable to say that it's one of the most immoral, heinous, serious, violent Crimes.
I'd argue that this is the WORST Crime.
And, the underlying causes at the most fundamental levels, like any other serious, violent crime is 'mental derangement' or a mental disorder to a much sick degree. And, yes, it can be studied under 'Criminal Psychology' and the above method outlined above. But, NOT before or without the convicted child rape criminal getting the prison sentence.
I'd appeal for life sentence for all child rapists.
There's NO MORAL JUSTIFICATION to raping a child and letting the young child (girl) go on with the life leaving fully traumatized for her entire life to live through. It leaves the parents in trauma, the entire family, the entire fabric of society gets shaken when a child is raped, abused, tortured (and, in some cases, killed too).
IMMORAL ACT WORST CRIMEPUNISHABLE This is inescapable for a convicted criminal of this offense!!
Litmus test of sanity:
Child Rape is a CRIME.
Pedophilia is a CRIMINAL MINDSET.
Convicted Pedophiles are CRIMINALS.
Each of us should be able to agree to the above most fundamental aspect of seeing the objective reality eye-eye, be able to say the above, with full throttle conviction with an unquivering voice.
Can we all do that?
The ones who want to contest the above reality will be challenged on their ethical / moral vein in their System.

Unlike, other Crime profiles, a child rape is the worst crime because:
- In addition to the characteristics of what this Crime profile entails (see section at the top), a small child is innocent 100%.
- There's NO ambiguity to pursue.
- There is NO secondary layer to what the child victim might have transpired to be a victim of it.
- There is NO excuse for the child rapist to be carrying out a violent, physical, unfathomable tragic and traumatic Crime.
We, as adults, in the society play many roles to the Children everywhere. We are parents, teachers, coaches, guardians, babysitters / caretakers, educators and more importantly, THE PROTECTORS!!
Whoever the Child is, when you see an unattended child or a child in distress, you'd lean in and try to help alleviate the child's distress.
This is WHO WE ARE as Humans.
We are wired to be as compassionate and kind as this, in this type of demeanors and gestures to support, alleviate, guard, protect Children from any physical dangers around them. That's our civic, social, moral, spiritual responsibility as simple, real human beings.

If anyone failed the above litmus test above, they are not debating on the serious topic to the gravity it warrants. They have severe mental distortion themselves and are not equipped to sit across the table and debate any further.
There's an objectively moral right and wrong.
And, it starts with seeing, saying and speaking in the tokens of 'Child rape is a Crime'.
