A Casual Relationship With The Universal Truths Decays Sanity!

With evolution of times, ideas and evolving needs of human, we invariably get into many challenges.

Let's look at two distinct Eras:

ERA 1: Human race was soaking wet in handling serious challenges in the realm of physical health and wellness, increasing the lifespan of a human by inventing in medical advancements and such.

(Like treatments for various epidemic breakouts Malaria, Polio, Jaundice and numerous rare diseases like cancer and more)

So, if you observe, most of the challenges were concentrated in enhancing the quality of human life to the effect of increasing the lifespan, as the main goal.

And, we (human race) are now doing exponentially better with all of these medical related issues when compared to decades ago.

Simple.

ERA 2:

But, as times went by, the dimension of challenges also shifted.

mental realm.

Meaning, more and more psychological related issues became prevalent.

Mental health took the center stage and this is a part of the evolutionary trends for human race.

More and more deeper challenges were centered in treating or understanding Autism spectrum children, ADHD, psychological or mental imbalances or disorders or clinically diagnosed mental health issues like depression, suicidal thoughts and more...(there are numerous areas, can't be exhaustive listing)

Let me make one caveat so we don't think of this idea in all black and white thinking and linear format but let's embed the necessary critical thinking aspects to make the conversation more worthwhile.

In the mapping of trends and times I have outlined above, both the eras had both types of problems.

Meaning, there were incidents of people ailing with psychological issues and such, decades ago too (in ERA 1 too) and there are still physical health related challenges that can be worked upon in this era (ERA 2) too.

It's just a matter of predominance, an element of priority and other relevant factors that make the eras split somewhat clearly into those structures, I defined above. Whatever is the most painful issue gets worked upon first.

Simple, again!

Some things to explore further:

• So, what happened during the transitioning of these ERAs and why are we struggling so deep and so hard in this ERA?
• What other things have made the challenges even more complex than they need to be?
• What has changed so dramatically and drastically?
• What has slipped in it's original, natural setting that it's upsetting the human race now more than ever before?

Let's pin the above exploration ideas to a set of well defined dimensions that are most significant and relevant correlations

While we evolve in a natural, organic evolutionary trends, some of the other fundamentals got compromised.

The BIG THINGS that took a hit are:

1. The loose, casual relationship with the Truth.

A general disdain for accurate information, an appetite for facts, fundamental truths, scientific concepts, objective reality, objective moral code and principles, general universal ethical code of conduct.

2. Universal Truths are shaken to fluidity.

1. 'Earth is NOT flat. Earth is Spherical'
2. 'There are ONLY TWO Biological genders. Male and Female'
3. 'Biological Men cannot get pregnant'
4. 'The Sun rises in the East'
5. 'Human beings are Mortal Beings. They are subject to death as they age'
6. 'Children are not capable of choosing a life changing decision until their brain is fully developed'

(And, a millions more such AXIOMS and Universal truths across all the disciplines of life and sciences, at large)

3. Common Sense has declined in the masses.

This element is directly correlated and tied to #1 above with truth becoming an optional or an alternative aspect as opposed to keeping it at the highest regard. A FUNDAMENTAL LOST in the name of 'Modernity'.

The FUNDAMENTALS are evergreens! They are not subject to eras, that's the beauty of them. They are like the evergreen life wisdom!! And, they are INDEPENDENT of any race, religion, gender, color, region, caste, creed, ethnicity and such.

4. Creative side of Human got DARKER!!

Creative and the dark side of human intelligence has lost it's levers, a sense of balance, a sense of beauty that needs to be retained (via the necessary grounding in the TRUTH).

It's like a parallel concept in Agentic AI models with LLM build. There's a tuning parameter called 'temperature' and it decreases/increases the creative levels in answering to your prompt as you tune that parameter.

And, when it's set to high creative mode, it "hallucinates" (a technical term, but the non-techies abused this term quite spectacularly taking it to their own creative levels - that's a sidenote.)

It's the same concept for human intelligence too.

When you lose that right 'temperature' setting in your mind, you lose the common sense elements, tend to fly blind without a traction to the facts, or the grounding in the truth and start to "hallucinate" or become delusional. When you lurk around in this state for too long, you develop a degeneracy of mind.

(There's a ton more to elaborate on this.. can't drill down on every nodal point now)

So, with naming a few big things that took a hit in this era, the human race level challenges in addressing mental realm (cumulatively keeping physical health realm advancements) got exacerbated!

We have simply made the challenges more insurmountable, needlessly complex, mind numbingly polarized when there's ZERO NEED to make it so.

What's a possible fix to get out of this deadlock state?

'Deadlock'

It's self-explanatory why we are in a deadlock state. But, let me give it in a quick primer, so we don't drown in a Spoon of water again.

Deadlock state explained:

Unless and until, we each are able to see the universal truths the same way, speak the same common sense language, honor the fundamental truths for what they are, see eye-eye on the most agreeable truths, facts and methods to argue and disagree ONLY on the opinions/ perspectives/ideas and NOT shake the fundamentals, we cannot find a meaningful exit to the madness state we are living in.

But, the deadlock aspect comes in where it's seemingly impossible to get majority of the folks (predominantly on the political left ideologies, agendas, propagandas) to use common sense, solid scientific principles to agree on.

And, hence, the deadlock state explained.

So, the possible fix is:

1. to unwind, pause, enable good and clear thinking, use critical thinking, bring and make common sense an essential tool, in all types of arguments, debates and conversations.
2. Agree on the most agreeable, necessary and fundamental universal truths. And, don't shake them up and lose your minds.
3. Build your other arguments as a secondary level or next level opinions, ideas and other political agendas and battles to win.
4. Make the Truth-seeking THE ESSENTIALS of daily life.
5. Make the facts, accurate information and truth put in high regard. Establish a stronger relationship with the TRUTH directly.
6. You don't need any other spiritual gurus or ethos to drive you to get into this mindset of regarding TRUTH as a CORE VALUE in your life and lifestyle.
7. You don't need to put anyone on Hero worship or pedestal, in order to achieve this level of intellectual, emotional, spiritual integrity.
8. Integrity at every level should be sought after as a life-saving aid. Data integrity, physical integrity, emotional integrity, intellectual integrity, spiritual integrity. And, move your LIFE and BEING as if your entire life's quality is dependent on it.
9. Quit the political brainwashing when YOU are ought to speak and utter the MOST FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS in its extremely simple form.
10. Learn to say YES/NO in the most definitive, ruthless form when speaking about the Universal Truths.

Let's try the above TEN commandments to possibly exit the 'deadlock' state and revisit the current social, political issues in time and see how we would perform next.
