'God' is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscent. 'God' is great and the Godly energy and light is in every single atom of the Universe. 'God' energy is infinite and bears divine characteristics of 'Love' that can manifest in several forms and intensities of kindness, compassion, generosity, forgiveness, empathy, sympathy, concern, caring, understanding, peace, appreciation, gratitude etc., We keep bumping into at least one of these on a daily basis in some form of shape either as recipient or as a giver. Think about this for a second.
When God is everywhere, that Godly energy must be inside of us too as we are a wonderful part of the Universe; Outside of us; and of course in the idols of the shrine as it is a part of our Universe again. This energy (God) keeps talking to us every single day guiding us with several cues and guidance etc., but we are probably saying "Dear God, I still can't see you. Please tell me you are securely sitting in the idols inside the shrine and I will come and visit you when I have some free time".
Living the spirit of God gives us a better chance of him/her/God energy manifest in each of us and very highly unlikely by constantly making that an external/outside entity to us. We are a part of God's greatest creation and that is already a part of our material/physical body also. We are immersed in that energy and hence we each bear that energy inside of us by virtue of being here. Listen to your self and value what it says as it is already in direct communion with what we are craving for.
